Comprehensive Sound

Exclusively developed by Focal and crafted in France, the Slatefiber cone showcases a unique construction process. It is composed of recycled carbon fibers integrated as a filling between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. Fueled by the pursuit of perfection, Focal’s engineers have meticulously aligned the non-woven carbon fibers.

These are in a single direction to enhance rigidity, damping, and overall lightness, essential characteristics of exceptional speaker drivers. Excellent Treble

Crafted with precision in France by Focal, the Aluminium/Magnesium TNF tweeter features an inverted dome design that ensures a clear and smooth treble response. The innovative surround connecting the dome to its stand is made from Poron, a memory foam material. Derived from the renowned Beryllium tweeter found in Focal’s Utopia line, this Poron surround reduces distortion by a significant third within the high-sensitivity range of the human ear, specifically between 2000Hz and 3000Hz. As a result, this exceptional Focal tweeter guarantees an impressively stable soundstage, enhancing the overall listening experience.
