Focal, renowned for their pursuit of perfection, introduces the exclusive Slatefiber cone, a product made in France. This innovative cone design incorporates recycled carbon fibers placed as a filling between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. To achieve exceptional performance, Focal’s engineers have carefully oriented the non-woven carbon fibers in a single direction, resulting in enhanced rigidity, improved damping, and reduced weight – crucial elements for an outstanding speaker driver.
