NF Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter

The speaker delivers soft and precise treble reproduction. Its surround, made of Poron memory foam material, draws inspiration from the renowned Beryllium tweeter found in the Utopia series. By reducing distortion by a significant amount between 2,000Hz and 3,000Hz, which falls within the ear’s high-sensitivity range, the tweeter ensures accurate and clear sound. The inverted dome design provides excellent spatialization and low directionality, enabling silky trebles to be enjoyed from any listening position in your room.

Slatefiber cone

The speaker ensures a perfectly balanced sound reproduction. This exclusive Focal technology utilizes recycled, non-woven carbon fibers that are sandwiched between layers of thermoplastic polymer. The meticulous engineering approach involves aligning the carbon fibers in the same direction to enhance rigidity and damping properties. Manufactured with precision in Focal’s workshops using state-of-the-art industrial tools, the cone’s “slate” effect contributes to improved damping, rigidity, and lightweight characteristics—the key elements for an exceptional speaker driver.
